Is there such a thing as "PAST LIVES"?

I am touching on this subject not to convince anyone, but rather to open your mind to the possibility.  Here, in the West, this is a more difficult concept to accept than other parts of the world where a number of major religions embrace the idea of reincarnation.

Have you ever encountered the overwhelming familiarity of a certain time period, place, smell, taste or event of which you had no previous experience?  Sometimes, even a new acquaintance might trigger feelings of happiness, anger, resentment, fear or deep love.  What about "love at first sight"?  Most of us have experienced these feelings and subtle memories or "flashbacks" that cannot be explained.  Some of us have an uncanny ability to do certain things that we never experienced before, as if we had been doing these things previously, and we are just picking up where we left off.  Personally, I believe this is more than coincidence.  For example, one individual continually reaches for the stick shift while driving, and he never drove a stick shift in his life!  Some of us have a thirst for knowledge of a particular culture that is not of our family's ancestry.  Some people are inexplicably afraid of heights, water, bridges, confined areas, and certain animals.  

Some people have been known to go under hypnosis and speak in a foreign language that they had never learned in this lifetime.  Luckily, the sessions were recorded, and brought to people that spoke in that foreign tongue.  They were able to verify that the client, under hypnosis, spoke perfectly and fluently.  There are even some instances in which individuals woke from a coma with distinct accents, or were suddenly able to speak a foreign language they have not learned!  And some of us simply have an uncanny flair for a particular foreign language that we are learning. 

Past Life Regressions allow individuals to go into an hypnotic state and view their past lives.  This is a fascinating journey!  Sometimes, people have felt that they were just making something up while in this hypnotic state, but with today's technology, some facts and events are able to be verified - events that the individual would have no way of knowing.  This happened to Sylvia as well.  When she came out of a hypnosis session, the events she witnessed did not make sense to her, and in attempts to prove the session wrong, she actually proved it right! 

Like a wise colleague once said, "It is no less of a miracle to have one life or a hundred."
